1963
Imperial Fountain is acquired by our Texas facility. The fountain luminaires and equipment were added to the existing lighting product line, thus the creation of Imperial Bronzelite.
1965
Esquire Inc. acquires Imperial Bronzelite and, with other lighting lines, forms the Esquire Lighting Group.
1981
Bairnco Corporation is formed as a holding company.
1983
Bairnco acquires the Esquire Lighting Group.
1984
Bairnco consolidates Imperial Bronzelite and other lighting lines in to the Genlyte Group Inc.
1986
The Genlyte Group ceases the manufacture of fountains & equipment and focuses their energies on lighting products under the Bronzelite® brand.
1988
The Genlyte Group becomes an independent public company by spinning off from Bairnco.
1998
The Genlyte Group and Thomas Industries combine to form the Genlyte-Thomas Group LLC, a world leader in lighting. Shortly thereafter, the Bronzelite® product line is relocated from Texas to our Pennsylvania facility.
2002
Bronzelite® becomes an independent strategic business unit in order to focus on our unique and specific customer needs.
